Calling on Prince Pahlavi and drawing up a plan to continue the national uprising

Prince Pahlavi issued a new call for today and the continuation of the national uprising against the oppressive regime.

In the wake of the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people and the spread of nightly protests in various cities, Prince Reza Pahlavi has issued successive appeals, attempting to guide the popular protests in a coherent, safe, and inclusive direction. These appeals, which have been widely welcomed by sections of society and widely reflected in the media and social networks, emphasize collective presence, avoiding dispersal, and protecting the lives of protesters.

In his latest message, Prince Pahlavi, while referring to the large number of people on the streets for the third consecutive night, spoke of the serious weakening of the Islamic Republic's repressive apparatus and announced that, according to credible reports, the government is facing a severe shortage of forces to control the million-strong protestor population.

According to him, there are also signs of desertion or disobedience of suppression orders among the armed and security forces, an issue that could seriously change the power equations.

In this context, Prince Reza Pahlavi has once again emphasized his call to be on the streets this Sunday, January 11, corresponding to January 21, and has attempted to reduce the potential risks for protesters by providing specific recommendations.

He also pointed to the widespread support of Iranians abroad and the growing support of global public opinion for the protests of the Iranian people, and spoke of the role of international political support, especially from the United States.

In his call message today, he said:

"My compatriots!"

By your large and courageous presence on the streets of Iran for the third consecutive night, you have weakened the apparatus of repression of Khamenei and his regime. I have received credible reports that show that the Islamic Republic is facing a severe shortage of personnel to deal with the millions of people on the streets, and so far many of the armed and security forces have either left their posts or disobeyed orders to suppress the people. What remains for Khamenei is a mercenary and savage minority who, like their criminal leader, are un-Iranian and anti-Iranian, and who consider you, the great nation of Iran, their enemy. Rest assured that they will be punished for their actions.

While reiterating my second call for 6:00 PM today, Sunday (January 11), I urge all of you to go to the main streets of the cities in groups with friends and family members; do not separate yourself from each other or the crowd along the way, and do not take side roads that could endanger your lives.

Know that you are not alone. Your compatriots around the world are proudly shouting your voice, as you must have seen the images of their numerous and widespread presence on your television screens. The world stands today with your national revolution and admires your courage. In particular, President Trump, as the leader of the free world, has carefully observed your indescribable courage and has announced that he is ready to help you.

"Don't leave the street, my heart and soul are with you. I know I will be with you soon."

For many protesters, Prince Pahlavi's recent calls are seen as a sign of an effort to create an inclusive, national political leadership in a transitional era; one that emphasizes civic action, social solidarity, and the avoidance of blind violence. As the Islamic Republic faces a crisis of legitimacy and the erosion of its ability to suppress, the street, as the main focus of developments, has become more than ever the arena for determining Iran's future.
