Teachers gathered in more than 60 cities in Iran

On Thursday, December 1, teachers once again protested the failure to implement the ranking plan and the lack of salary increases in more than 60 cities in Iran.
According to the Telegram channel of teachers' unions, they are demanding the implementation of a job ranking plan and an increase in salaries by 80% for university faculty members.
Payment of severance pay and implementation of the salary equalization law, based on the Civil Service Law, for retirees were other demands of the protesters.
Teachers from the provinces of Lorestan, Kurdistan, Alborz, Tehran, Khuzestan, Yazd, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, North Khorasan, Gilan, Fars, Semnan, Qazvin, Isfahan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Mazandaran, West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Markazi, Zanjan, Hamedan, Gorgan, Khorasan Razavi, and Kerman were present at these gatherings.
Teachers have held rallies with these same demands many times in recent months. They held rallies in about 50 cities, including on November 10.
In these rallies, they criticized the delays and hesitation of the Ebrahim Raisi government and the parliament in implementing their demands.
