Noushin Keshavarzenia, social researcher and women's rights activist, arrested

Noushin Keshavarzenia, a social researcher and women's rights activist, was arrested by Iranian security agencies.
According to reports, Ms. Keshavarzenia was arrested and transferred to prison on Monday, May 25, after being summoned by security officials. No information is available about her whereabouts or the charges against her.
In another incident, Amnesty International issued a statement calling for the immediate release of Behnam Musivand, a political prisoner in Iran, following his transfer to a hospital outside Evin Prison due to complications from his hunger strike.
The statement emphasized that Behnam Musivand is being "unjustly imprisoned" due to his "human rights activities."
Mr. Musivand was beaten by officers on April 20 for refusing to wear handcuffs and shackles to receive medical services outside the prison, and has been on a hunger strike since then.
