Father and brother of Farzad Ansarifar, one of the victims of November 2019, were imprisoned

As pressure continued on the families of the plaintiffs, Farzad Ansarifar's father and brother were arrested and imprisoned.
Farzad Ansarifar was killed by Islamic Republic security forces during the November 2019 protests in Behbahan. His sister announced on Saturday that her father had been imprisoned, and on Sunday, July 25, she announced that her other brother had also been transferred to prison.
Farzaneh Ansarifar wrote in a tweet to Iranian authorities, emphasizing that they first killed her brother and then imprisoned her father and other brother: "It is true that oppression is persistent in the Islamic Republic's government, but we continue to resist."
On Saturday, Ms. Ansarifar also stated that her father was being imprisoned for the second time in the past few months, calling his crime a lawsuit and wrote: "He went to prison for asking who the murderer of my son Farzad Ansarifar was," and "Death to oppression and injustice!"
In another tweet, he emphasized that the judiciary had sentenced him to four years and six months in prison and his father and brother to three months in prison and a five-year ban on leaving the country "for the crime of seeking justice," adding: "My family is being oppressed. Be our voice."
Previously, a source close to the Dadkhah family told VOA that Amin Ansarifar was arrested on February 20 while appearing in court and was charged with "testifying at the November 2019 International People's Court" and "interviewing Masih Alinejad," while he says he has not interviewed Masih Alinejad yet.
Previously, on February 8, 2021, a source close to Farzad Ansarifar's family told VOA that, at the same time as the second round of the November 2019 People's Court was being held in London, judicial authorities, while pressuring the family, had filed three separate cases against Farzaneh Ansarifar.
