The Prince's direct message to the regime's forces, a historic choice in the midst of uprising and repression

In the midst of a national uprising and widespread repression, Prince Pahlavi, in a direct message to Iran's armed and security forces, emphasized the historic choice between the people or the oppressors.

In recent days, profound political and social developments across Iran have reached a critical point. From the nationwide popular protests that began on December 28, 2025 with economic protests and expanded to political demands and widespread military and governmental changes, to the strict response of the security and judicial forces, the situation is gradually moving in favor of protest efforts and pressures against the power structure of the Islamic Republic.

In this context, Prince Pahlavi's message to the Iranian armed and security forces reflects the desire of a part of society and the opposition, which calls on these institutions to determine their position in a historic choice: on the side of the people or on the side of the government and the oppressors.

In this statement, the prince, referring to the historical role of the armed forces in defending the nation, emphasized that these institutions are now at a crucial crossroads, adding: "This is a direct message to the Iranian armed and security forces; you who have put on military uniforms to defend the Iranian nation! You are now faced with a historic choice."
In the days when the brave and united people of Iran are making and writing history, my question to you is: which side of history will you stand on? With the criminals, or with the people?

"The question is no longer whether the Islamic Republic, this corrupt and oppressive regime, will fall; the question is only when it will fall, and that time is closer than ever. In these fateful moments, I expect you to return to the embrace of the nation and use your weapons not to shoot at people but to protect them. By doing so, you will not only fulfill your national duty, but you will also protect your future and that of your families."

Reza Pahlavi continued in his message: “Six months ago, I created the National Cooperation Platform as a secure channel for you to declare your loyalty to the people. Thousands of you registered on it. Now, with the resumption of the Iranian national uprising and the high volume of new requests, this platform has been upgraded to ensure that each of you receives an immediate response.
If you have already registered and have not received a response, I urge you to do so again. Currently, the only secure way to register is still to scan the QR code during the live broadcast on Iran International TV. This is your last chance to join the nation and separate your fate from the sinking ship of the Islamic Republic. The oppressors of the nation and those who shoot at the people can be sure that they will be identified and punished. Those who stand with the Iranian nation will be respected and honored by the nation.”

The protests in Iran, which have spread to more than 27 provinces, demonstrate the depth of dissatisfaction and demand for structural change. Independent human rights reports indicate the use of live ammunition by security forces, mass arrests, and attacks on hospitals, such that the protests have become not just limited to economic demands but also structural political demands.

In contrast, the Islamic Republic's authorities have so far continued to impose severe repression and uncompromising warnings against protesters, and the judiciary has emphasized that there will be no tolerance in dealing with "rioters," indicating a continuation of the repressive approach.

Recent developments have also included an increase in deaths and injuries during protests, international pressure, and statements by foreign officials about the situation in Iran, indicating that this crisis is not just a domestic issue but is also reflected in the human rights and geopolitical spheres.

Finally, the above message, while calling on the armed forces to return to the embrace of the nation and use weapons to protect the people, not suppress them, is based on the belief that this choice is not only in the interest of Iran and the people, but can also protect the future fate of the armed forces and their families.
