Police Personnel Campaign: “We Are Iran’s Soldiers, Not Iran’s Burden”

Police personnel launched a campaign to announce their support for the Iranian people and opposition to the Islamic Republic regime.
Some police personnel, following the start of truck drivers’ strike from June 1st and their protests against poor economic conditions, came out in support of them. Now, with the start of Israel’s attacks against the Islamic Republic and increasing tensions in the region, along with various messages from Iranians around the world and Prince Reza Pahlavi calling on regime forces to join the Iranian people, a growing number of system officials and police forces have announced their support for the Iranian people through various messages.
Police personnel announced their readiness to support the people against the Islamic Republic and confront the system through various messages. Some of them wrote in a message addressing their colleagues: “We are Iran’s soldiers, not Iran’s burden. The Islamic Republic is the primary culprit in this war. Dear colleague! Stop the foolishness and let’s defend our country together, not the clerical government. Where is the criminal Khamenei now? We must finish this with the people.”
Some other members of the special units of the police also published a message stating: “Let’s end this war by overthrowing the Islamic Republic. We, a group of special unit personnel, have sworn to stand behind our homeland and our countrymen. The overthrow of the Islamic Republic is near.”
