Prince Reza Pahlavi: Iran’s Sovereignty Over Three Islands is Non-negotiable

Prince Reza Pahlavi emphasized that Iran’s sovereignty over the three islands in the Persian Gulf is non-negotiable.
Prince Reza Pahlavi, while criticizing remarks regarding Iran’s national sovereignty over the three islands that were raised at a joint meeting of Persian Gulf Arab countries and the European Union, reaffirmed Iran’s sovereignty over the aforementioned islands and stated that this matter is not subject to discussion.
Prince Pahlavi, in a message posted on the X network, referring to the joint action of Persian Gulf Arab countries and the European Union as resulting from “the consequences of the Islamic Republic’s weakness and helplessness,” wrote: “The Islamic Republic regime, through sabotage, terrorism and extortion, has driven Iran into isolation and undermined the position and respect of Iranians in the international community. To the extent that this anti-national regime is now considered the greatest threat to Iran’s waters, soil and territorial integrity.
The European Council should have designated the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps on the list of terrorist organizations to counter the threat of the Islamic Republic and supported renewed United Nations sanctions against the regime, but instead, by supporting historical distortions and the violation of Iran’s territorial integrity by colonialists, it has insulted the Iranian people.”
Prince Pahlavi’s remarks came in response to a joint meeting between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council that last week accused Iran of occupying the Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa islands in the Persian Gulf. In addition, they called on the Islamic Republic to end its occupation of these three islands in accordance with the United Nations Charter regarding respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of nations.
