Qom Islamic Azad University Students Protest Vice President Raisi’s Presence

Students at Qom Islamic Azad University protested the presence of Vice President Raisi at the university and left the conference hall.

On Wednesday, corresponding to 13 Ordibehesht 1402, the Vice President of the Republic, Mr. Raisi, was present at Qom Islamic Azad University. During his speech, he encountered a reaction from students.

Students at this university, with the slogan “We don’t want a corrupt system, we don’t want a murderous guest,” not only refused to allow the Vice President to continue his speech, but also left the conference hall.

So far, students from various universities across Iran have joined the “Woman, Life, Freedom” revolution through their protests, during which many faculty members also stood with the students.

In the past, students also protested the presence of “Jahromian,” the government spokesman, and left the speech ceremony with revolutionary slogans. The students, who are the most important segment of society, by protesting and joining the popular revolution, have declared their opposition to the Islamic Republic regime and have united with other Iranian people for the fall of the regime. They can no longer endure oppression, tyranny, and coercion, but rather are seekers of justice and equality.
