Chemical Attack on Girls’ Schools in Tehran

Today’s reports indicate another chemical attack on girls’ schools in Tehran.
On the first day of schools reopening after the Nowruz holidays, we witnessed the poisoning of students in Tabriz, but it appears that only schools in this province have been subjected to chemical attacks.
According to public reports, on Wednesday, the 16th of Farvardin 1402, Talat Bahari (Zahra) girls’ school located in district 10 of Tehran was subjected to a chemical attack, and a number of students were poisoned. According to “Avatoday,” the school principal prevented contact with emergency services and accused the students of feigning illness.
The students’ reports contradict the school principal’s statements. They stated that an object resembling a firecracker was thrown into the school, from which smoke then emanated, causing students to experience nausea and eye irritation, resulting in poisoning.
It should be noted that a number of students at the “Salamat” girls’ school located on “19 Dey” street in Qom city have also been poisoned.
The poisonings in schools have been occurring for more than 5 months, and the Islamic Republic system has yet to succeed in identifying the perpetrators of these poisonings. Meanwhile, the system’s forces, immediately after being notified of fasting violations, improper hijab, and street protests, immediately take action and arrest and detain a number of people as rioters and criminals. However, after 5 months have passed, no action has been taken regarding the poisonings.
This action by the system demonstrates that the Islamic Republic regime has a hand in these poisonings, and for this reason takes no action to stop them.
