Public Reports on the Situation in Various Cities

Continuing protests and strikes, merchants and shopkeepers in several Kurdish-populated cities including Boukan, Saqqez, Marivan, and Sanandaj have closed their shops for the fifth time over the past month as a strike action. They have also called on people in various cities to continue these strikes and shut down their businesses.

Kurdish-populated cities in the provinces of Ilam, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, and West Azerbaijan have been among Iran’s most turbulent cities over the past four weeks.

According to human rights organizations, at least 25 citizens have been killed by gunfire from security forces in these areas so far, and hundreds of others have been wounded and arrested.

Since the start of nationwide protests, Sanandaj has been the continuous scene of anti-government demonstrations without interruption.

According to reports from Bijar residents, a vehicle transporting military personnel and equipment carrying Katyusha rockets overturned in Bijar at Mahmoudabad Square, and its driver was killed. Apparently, this vehicle carrying Katyusha rockets was intended to suppress the protesters.

Protesters announced that we have no weapons, but we can make weapons for legitimate self-defense. And to take Iran back from the hands of the enemy, we will take to the streets armed and will not withdraw from the streets.

Protests in Tehran have also intensified. Last night, following the fire at Evin Prison, people in Valanak and Tajrish remained in the streets chanting in protest until dawn. Also, in new videos sent by people regarding Evin Prison, it has been shown that prison officials are deliberately trying to intensify the fire by using flammable materials on the prison roof.

While suppression and arrest of protesters continues, the people of Iran have announced a new call for today, Tuesday. Not only for the killing of Masha and others dear ones who have been killed over this past month, but for Black Friday in Zahedan, Flight 752, Plasco, Sanchi, suppression of protesters, killed students, Sharif, Evin, Metropol, and Sanandaj which are in fire and bullets.
