Islamic Republic Sanctions ‘Christians for Israel’ Foundation

Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through a statement, has sanctioned the ‘Christians for Israel’ foundation and 12 other organizations in the European Union.

According to ‘Hamshahri Online,’ the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, in a reciprocal response to the European Union and Britain for supporting terrorism, designating the IRGC as a terrorist organization, inciting and encouraging terrorist activities and violence against the Iranian people, interfering in the internal affairs of the Islamic Republic, promoting violence against Iranians, and participating in intensifying unjust sanctions against Iran, has imposed sanctions against the European Union and Britain.

The list released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic on the sanctions list includes 13 organizations and 23 individuals in the European Union and Britain. This list includes the ‘Christians for Israel’ foundation and the ‘Jews for Israel’ organization. However, the ‘Christians for Israel’ foundation announced that these sanctions will have no impact on the foundation, as this organization has no bank accounts or assets in Iran.

‘Frank van Oordt,’ executive director of the Christians for Israel foundation, also said: “If the dictatorial regime of the Islamic Republic considers Christians for Israel a threat, then we have chosen the right path, and this motivates us to continue bearing witness in God’s love and grace to His people.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all institutions of the Islamic Republic have placed necessary measures, including visa issuance bans, preventing entry into Iran, blocking bank accounts, and freezing assets and property within the jurisdiction of the Islamic Republic, on their agenda for implementing these sanctions.

Following the issuance of this statement, it is not unlikely that the Islamic Republic regime will also enforce these sanctions against Christians within Iran, seizing their assets, blocking their accounts, and depriving them of the right to education and employment.

It is worth noting that this statement was issued while the ‘Joe Biden’ administration is pressuring Britain in an attempt to prevent the placement of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the list of terrorist organizations, and Britain has not yet announced a final and definitive decision. The European Union and Britain also have not yet taken steps to close bank accounts and freeze assets and property of Islamic Republic officials. The Islamic Republic regime not only plunders the country’s assets and the property of the Iranian people under various pretexts but has also placed the freezing of assets and closing of European bank accounts for the benefit of the Islamic Republic system on its agenda.
