Plundering of Assets Escalates, Citizens Beware!

Iranian lawyers, wake up! Today Iran’s assets are being plundered, tomorrow it will be the turn of looting the royal jewels. It is your duty as Iranian lawyers to prevent this blatant theft so that we do not witness the plundering of other Iranian assets in the future.

Based on previous reports from the past few weeks regarding the removal of 6 pallets of gold and dollars from Iran, now it is the turn to plunder other assets from Iran.

One of the 1,054 square meter units on the 116th floor of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is allocated to Bank Melli Iran. Bank Melli Iran published an announcement with the title “Move Your Office to the Most Luxurious and Record-Breaking Tower on Earth” on Monday in the official newspaper “Iran” and on Sunday on the bank’s official website.

It should be noted that the sale of this 1,054 square meter unit is conducted in UAE dirhams. Although the base price of the auction is not listed in the text of this announcement, in the related documents, the base price of this auction is set at 35,329,800 UAE dirhams.

It is worth noting that in addition to this administrative unit, there are also 18 dedicated parking spaces. One of the conditions for selling this large administrative unit is the payment of fifty percent of the total price without any grace period. Another point is that Bank Melli Iran will give the buyer of this administrative unit a 5 percent discount from the base price in case of cash purchase.

Now, given the injustice that the Islamic Republic government has inflicted upon the people and the numerous assets they have taken from Iran, isn’t it time for the government assets that exist in other countries to be blocked by those countries’ governments and confiscated for the benefit of the Iranian people?
