Asaluyeh Petrochemical Personnel Join Strikes

Contract and permanent personnel at the petrochemical company in Asaluyeh, “Mabeen Persian Gulf Energy,” have joined the strikes.

Previously, truck drivers and oil and gas company personnel had launched widespread strikes, along with a campaign by people to withdraw money from banks. Now, personnel of the major petrochemical company in Asaluyeh, which is the main energy supplier in the Persian Gulf, have gone on strike by halting their work activities.

According to Fariborz Karmizand on his Instagram page, the regime’s backbone is bending. Schools and government offices have been closed in several provinces, and in some provinces, working hours of offices have been reduced. Factories and a number of industrial zones have also been shut down or partially shut down due to inability to provide gas.

When major economic hubs that supply energy to large factories in Iran join the strikes, it deals a severe blow to the Islamic Republic regime and will cause heavy damages.

A damage that breaks the regime’s backbone and deprives them of the ability to remain in power. Remaining in the streets and more widespread strikes are two main pillars of the struggle for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic regime.
