Kashan: Social Emergency Services Review 135 Cases of Child Abuse Over the Past Year

Hrana News Agency – The head of the Kashan Welfare Department announced the review of 135 cases of child abuse, 15 cases of elderly abuse, and 51 cases of spousal abuse during the past year in this city.

According to Hrana News Agency citing Mehr, the head of the Kashan Welfare Department stated: In the past year, 135 cases of child abuse were reviewed at the Kashan Social Emergency Services.

Om-ol-Banin Motaqi Nezhad also, referring to this center’s involvement in family disputes, emphasized: Over the past year, 63 cases of acute family disputes were referred to the specialists of the Kashan Social Emergency Services, and the relevant cases were reviewed.

He also announced the review of 51 cases of spousal abuse among Kashan residents at this center in the past year and stated: 15 cases of elderly abuse were also reported to this center and addressed in the past year.

Motaqi Nezhad, while referring to the report of five cases of abuse of people with disabilities to the Kashan Social Emergency Services center in the past year, added: Five cases of unauthorized eviction from home and five cases of neglect were among other matters that were reported to the Kashan Social Emergency Services in the past year and reviewed by the specialists of this center.
