635 More Deaths Added to Iran’s Official COVID-19 Fatality Count

According to Iran’s Ministry of Health statistics, 635 COVID-19 patients died in the past 24 hours, and more than 27,000 new coronavirus cases have been identified in the country.

Based on the same statistics, the total death toll from this disease in Iran has exceeded 111,000 people. The total number of COVID-19 patients in Iran since the beginning has been reported at 5 million and 184,000 people.

According to experts, the official statistics from Iran’s Ministry of Health are significantly lower than the actual figures.

Currently, 246 cities in the country are in a red situation, 144 cities are in an orange situation, and 58 cities are in a yellow situation.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that by administering 884,810 vaccine doses in the country over the past 24 hours, a new daily record for coronavirus vaccination was broken.

According to this report, to date, nearly 20 million people have received the first dose of coronavirus vaccine and 10 million and 355,000 people have received the second dose.
