Amnesty International Call: Help Document Cases of Protester Suppression by Providing Information and Evidence

The international human rights organization Amnesty International has called on people and protesters to report cases of human rights violations to the organization for documentation.
In a Telegram statement in Persian, the organization said: “Many protesters have been injured in recent days and during November protests by metal or plastic pellet bullets. Amnesty International calls on everyone who has information in this regard to contact the organization and send photos and videos of the bullets and injuries caused by them.”
The organization has announced two phone numbers on WhatsApp and Telegram for reporting:
0044-796-142-15-65
0044-796-142-15-78
Amnesty International was also able to provide preliminary statistics on the killing of protesters last month by receiving reports.
Some reports from protests on Sunday, December 13 in Iran indicate that shots were fired at protesters and a number of them were arrested.
President Trump has so far warned the Iranian regime in several tweets about violence against people. In one of these tweets, President Trump wrote: “The Iranian government should allow human rights groups to monitor and report on the current reality of protests among the Iranian people. We should not witness a repeat killing of peaceful protesters or internet shutdowns. The world is watching these events.”
