Amnesty International Calls for Immediate Release of Ismail Bakhshi and Sepideh Golian

Raha Bahraini, a researcher at Amnesty International, criticized the re-arrest of Ismail Bakhshi and Sepideh Golian, stating that security officials are attempting to prevent legitimate workers’ activities by creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation.

Raha Bahraini, in an interview with Radio Farda, criticized the broadcast of the program “Burnt Design” and announced that Amnesty International is concerned about the condition of Ms. Golian and Mr. Bakhshi, adding: “They are at greater risk of torture and mistreatment.”

Amnesty International’s researcher on Iran’s affairs stated that the organization is demanding that Iranian authorities immediately release Ismail Bakhshi and Sepideh Golian and create conditions for workers to present their demands in a peaceful environment.
