Total COVID-19 Deaths in Iran Exceed 90,000

According to Iran’s Ministry of Health announcement on Thursday, July 29, 292 more people died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
According to this report, nearly 34,500 new patients were identified in the country during the announced period.
As a result, the total death toll reached 90,074 and the total number of confirmed cases in Iran reached 3,826,447.
This figure is announced while its accuracy is seriously questioned by independent sources, and the number of victims is estimated to be two to three times higher than the official government figures.
Based on Iran’s Ministry of Health report, by July 28, 9,180,089 people received the first dose of the vaccine and 2,628,141 people also received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines administered in the country reached 11,808,230 doses.
In this report, the status of 232 cities in the country was announced as red, 117 cities as orange, and 99 cities as yellow.
