Arrest of suspect in child abuse case in Khorramshahr

On Sunday, the 28th of Dey, the public and revolutionary prosecutor of Khorramshahr district announced the arrest of a father who physically assaulted his 12-year-old child, stating that the child has suffered serious head injuries and is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Vali-Asr Hospital in Khorramshahr.

According to HRANA news agency citing IRIB, today Sunday, the 28th of Dey 1399, the public and revolutionary prosecutor of Khorramshahr district announced the arrest of a child abuser in the city.

According to him, the 12-year-old child who was physically assaulted by his father has suffered serious skull injuries and is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Vali-Asr Hospital in Khorramshahr.

Fakher Baavi stated: “The child abuser was arrested today and introduced to prison on bail at the time of the shift, and was handed over to the competent authorities for investigation”.

Based on this report, the suspect beat his child until he lost consciousness and then took him to the hospital.
