The Global Voice of Art from Iran’s Darkest Corridors

Ehsan.Sh. CNN: He does not concern himself with the margins. He works quietly and without fanfare, and as he says: “I make films to be screened and for people to watch; everything else is marginal and insignificant.”
And yesterday, all art lovers and devotees of Iran’s cultural sphere witnessed how “The Salesman” by Asghar Farhadi, with its screening at London’s greatest venue, conveyed the message of peace of our homeland to the widest audience of viewers across the world.
A message that demonstrated that the Iranian artist is not confined by barriers and censorship. To the extent that he succeeds in bringing the pain of his compatriots from the most intricate and winding corridors of artistic production in the country to the ears of the world.
Asghar Farhadi and other influential artists involved in the production of “The Salesman” yesterday not only won the Oscar award but also proved to the world that Iranians are peace-loving and stand up against any violation of human rights.
Farhadi did not travel to America and did not attend the Oscar ceremony, but representatives received the certificates of Iran’s honor at this ceremony, proving their worth to human society in Trump’s America, the land of the U.S. president.
Asghar Farhadi introduced Anousheh Ansari and Professor Firouz Naderi as his representatives and representatives of the film “The Salesman” to participate in the 89th Academy Awards ceremony.
Anousheh Ansari, born in Iran (Mashhad) in 1345, is the first Iranian female astronaut to have traveled to space. She is also the fourth space tourist to have funded her own space travel expenses.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in astronomy from Swinburne University.
Receiving the National Foundation’s Special Award for Pioneering Women, receiving the entrepreneurship award from George Mason University, receiving the distinguished graduate award from George Washington University, and receiving the Southern Region Entrepreneur of the Year award from Ernst & Young are among the honors of this Iranian woman.
Professor Firouz Naderi, another renowned Iranian in the world, was born in Iran (Shiraz) in 1325. He is the director of solar system exploration discoveries at NASA and former associate director general of strategic planning at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA).
Naderi currently serves in various positions, including responsibility for designing the five to twenty-year strategic vision of JPL and managing NASA’s robotic research in the solar system. Last year, a minor planet was registered in Professor Naderi’s name at NASA.
Given these honors that have raised the reputation of Iranians in the world, and now Asghar Farhadi is among their leaders, what importance does it have that the government leaders have not reacted to this? They have come to believe that they do not have the people by their side and the foundations of maintaining their power have been shaken. Therefore, they use the accusation that the honors achieved by Iranians like Farhadi are political as a pretext to justify reactionism.
There is no doubt that Iranian artists, these messengers of peace and friendship, will once again shine in the world, and the name of Iran will once again adorn the realm of world art, without the indifference and narrow-mindedness of the leaders of the Islamic Republic regime being able to stand in the way.
They are unaware that God’s blessing will always be the lot of His chosen people, and today we witness that the time of Iran and Iranians has come. Amen
