Mina Khajoui's health condition is in danger in Evin Prison

The health condition of Mina Khajoui, a Christian citizen imprisoned in Evin Prison, is dangerous and causes concern.
Mina Khajou, a Christian citizen imprisoned in Evin Prison who suffers from physical problems, has been denied medical care, according to an informed source close to her family. According to the person, Ms. Khajou suffers from back and knee pain to the point where she can barely walk.
Mina Khajoui was sentenced to 6 years in prison in June 2012 for her peaceful religious activity and on charges of “managing illegal groups with the aim of disrupting the security of the country.” In January 2013, she received a text message from judicial authorities, requiring her to report to the prosecutor’s office within 5 days to serve her sentence. The authorities’ order came while she was receiving treatment for injuries sustained in an accident, but she was forced to stop her treatment.
Ms. Khajoui has serious walking problems and suffers from arthritis. Given that she must undergo a three-month treatment period, and this has even been approved by the judiciary's trusted physician, she is forced to remain in prison. It should be noted that a number of Christian citizens who had a similar case to Ms. Khajoui had their sentences reduced and even released in retrials, but her retrial was rejected.
The continued imprisonment of this Christian citizen in prison is not possible for him, given that he still needs to undergo treatment, but specialized care is not possible for him. In addition, the medical conditions in Iranian prisons have been repeatedly criticized by human rights organizations and the United Nations.
Many of them have even been denied medical care in prison, and in some cases have lost their lives due to the lack of medical care. The Islamic Republic government uses depriving prisoners of medical facilities, which are a prisoner's inalienable right, as a tool to pressure them.
