Reuters reported that hackers linked to Iran attempted to access emails of World Health Organization employees.

Reuters news agency, in an exclusive report, quoted four informed people as saying that hackers linked to the Iranian government tried to infiltrate the personal emails of members of the World Health Organization during the outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19 disease).
According to the report, published on Thursday, April 4, it is not yet clear whether the hackers were able to access employees' email information.
The attacks show that employees of the World Health Organization and other institutions on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19 have been subjected to repeated digital attacks by hackers seeking information about the outbreak.
The new email hacking attempt has been ongoing since March 2nd and has included attempts to steal passwords from employees of the organization.
Reuters reports that a spokesperson for the World Health Organization confirmed that personal emails of its staff had been targeted by hackers in what it called "phishing attacks," but added that the WHO did not know who was behind the attacks. He said that as far as the organization knew, none of the attacks had been successful.
