Three million migrants are on their way to Turkey from Iran.

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak says a new wave of migrants, about three million people, is in the process of moving to Turkey from Iran.
According to the Sabah Daily website, Kaynak said in an interview with CNN Turk news network, "According to the information we have obtained, there are about three million unregistered migrants in Iran who want to move towards Turkey. Unfortunately, most of them are Afghan nationals and come from eastern Iran."
Expressing concern about the Turkish government's indifference towards such migrations to Turkey, he said: "Of course, it's not that Iran is helping them migrate to Turkey, but rather that they are indifferent to it."
The Turkish Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that these people, rather than wanting to stay in the country, want to use Turkey as a transit point to Europe.
Kaynak also added: "Europe and other countries in the world should think about it... They [migrants] are planning to go to the West and for them [European countries] Turkey is an important barrier."
On the other hand, the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister's statements about Iran's indifference towards migrants were met with a reaction from the Islamic Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with Bahram Qassemi, spokesman for the Islamic Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, calling them baseless and interventionist, and emphasizing that such stances will create problems.
But hours later, the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister announced in the media that his statements about Iran had been misunderstood.
