President Trump's reaction to the IRGC attacks on US forces in Iraq: Everything is fine; we have the most powerful army in the world

In his first reaction to the attack by the Revolutionary Guards on American forces in Iraq on Wednesday morning, US President Donald Trump wrote: "All is well! Missiles were fired from Iran at two military bases in Iraq. Assessment of casualties and damage is underway. So far so good! We have the most powerful and well-equipped military in the world, by far! I will be issuing a statement tomorrow morning."
On Tuesday night, the Revolutionary Guards launched a missile and rocket attack on Ain al-Assad, a large base housing American forces in western Iraq, as well as the US consulate in Erbil.
In a statement released an hour later, the Pentagon announced that the base housing US forces in Erbil had also been targeted.
The Pentagon said in a statement an hour later: "On January 7, at approximately 5:30 p.m. (EST), Iran launched more than a dozen ballistic missiles at U.S. and coalition forces in Iraq. It is clear that the missiles were launched from Iran and targeted at least two Iraqi military bases in Al-Asad and Erbil, which host U.S. and coalition military personnel."
President Trump held a meeting with his national security team on Tuesday night, including Defense Secretary Mike Esper, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.
Iran's response to the killing of Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force, by the United States. Last Friday, the United States, on the orders of President Trump, killed Qassem Soleimani and the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Forces near Baghdad airport.
President Trump says he ordered the missile strike on the former commander of the Quds Force because Soleimani was the organizer of attacks on Americans and Iraqis and intended to carry out more terrorist acts.
The US State Department tweeted on Sunday, January 5: “Soleimani was not a hero. He was a murderer of Iranians, Americans, and thousands of others.”
