China became Iran's most important partner with $18.6 billion in trade

Alireza Moghaddisi, head of Iran's Customs Organization, stated that Iran's foreign trade "exceeded $72 billion in the first nine months of this year," and announced China's share in Iran's exports and imports of non-oil products at a total of $18.6 billion, naming the country as Iran's most important trading partner.
According to the Iranian State Radio and Television, during the last 9 months, the UAE with $14.9 billion and Turkey with $7 billion have been other important trading partners of Iran, and the share of Iran's exports to Iraq has also been announced at $6.8 billion.
The head of Iran's Customs Organization has not provided a detailed explanation about the details of Iran's foreign trade, especially the receipt of money for exported goods. For example, regarding Iraqi exports, Iranian officials have repeatedly reported a debt of $5 to $7 billion from this country, and say that receiving money from electricity and gas exports to this country has faced serious problems due to sanctions.
Alireza Moghaddisi also predicted that, given the current trend and a 40% increase in Iran's exports and 37% increase in imports, Iran's foreign trade will reach $98 billion by the end of this year.
