25 Christians Killed in Nigeria by Extremist Islamists

Extremist Islamists in Nigeria have killed 25 people by attacking Christian-populated neighborhoods.

According to the relief organization “Barnabas,” in recent weeks more than 50 armed terrorists attacked the villages of “Mandung-Mosho” in Plateau State at night and targeted residents in their sleep. According to statements by “Pharmasoom Fodang,” one of Boko Haram’s officials, 12 people were killed in this attack.

After the aforementioned attack, the Islamist terrorists set fire to homes and churches. They even showed no mercy to fleeing civilians and targeted them with gunfire. According to reports from this relief organization, in recent days, 12 other Christians in the Mangu area have been shot and killed by extremist Islamists. A Christian student at “Plateau” University also became a victim of the extremist Islamists’ attack.

In addition to those killed, many have been wounded and are receiving treatment in medical centers in Mangu. According to published reports, due to the aforementioned attacks by extremist Islamists in recent weeks, approximately 3,000 people have been displaced from their homes in Christian-populated areas.

Nigeria, with a population of 206 million people in West Africa, is home to approximately 40 percent Christians, and half of its population is Muslim. The extremist attacks on Christians by Muslims are among Nigeria’s major problems. By targeting Christians, they have launched a religious war in the African country.

According to annual reports by the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, Nigeria has become a slaughterhouse for Christians.
