7 Billion Dollars of Iran’s Blocked Foreign Exchange Resources on the Verge of Release

With the finalization of negotiations between Iran and the United States for the simultaneous release of prisoners from both countries, seven billion dollars of Iran’s blocked foreign exchange resources are on the verge of being released. (Based on IRNA news agency report)
Given that negotiations regarding the lifting of sanctions and political decision-making by the United States have been inconclusive, however, this country is independently and without consideration of the nuclear negotiations process, pursuing the release of its own prisoners in Iran, as well as the unfreezing of Iran’s blocked monetary assets in South Korea.
Through negotiations that were conducted with the mediation of one of the regional countries, regarding the simultaneous release of Iranian and American prisoners, the amount of seven billion dollars of Iran’s blocked foreign exchange assets is also on the verge of being released.
Given that the large Anonymous hacker team hacked bank accounts some time ago and blocked assets that existed in the central bank, accordingly Iran has not yet accepted the declared accounts for the transfer of the aforementioned foreign exchange assets, based on banking considerations, and has instead introduced new accounts for this purpose.
Ms. Hillary Clinton had written in her previous comments on her personal Twitter: The people of Iran, especially the youth, are protesting for freedom and a future that they deserve, and I hope their government shows a peaceful response and supports the aspirations of the people. The United States government also, from the second day of these protests, issued statements in support of the Iranian people and their demands, and prominent figures in the U.S. Congress also declared that the United States should stand alongside the Iranian people.
The point is, what does the news of the 7 billion dollar release, which the United States is trying to achieve, indicate at this time?
Are the sanctions and actions of the United States against the Iranian nation or against the Iranian government? What message does the release of this large sum in these circumstances intend to convey to the Iranian people?
It should be noted that following these negotiations, Baquer Namazi, a dual-national prisoner, was released from prison and left Iran. Also, Baquer Namazi’s son, Siamak Namazi, was released but is still in Iran.
The UN Secretary-General, while expressing satisfaction with the release of these two prisoners, announced: We will continue to engage with Iranian officials on a range of important issues, including the regional situation, sustainable development, and the promotion and support of human rights.
