November 7th, Commemoration Day for Cyrus, God's Anointed Man

Today, November 7, coincides with the commemoration day of Cyrus. Cyrus the Great is the founder and first king of the Achaemenid Empire. According to the Chronicles of Nabonidus, on November 7, 539 BC, Cyrus the Great entered the city-state of Babylon and freed the captive Jews. Cyrus the Great Day is not registered in the official calendar, however, various groups of Iranian people want to register this day in the national calendar of Iran and every year on November 7, they commemorate this day by attending the tomb of Cyrus in Pasargadae. This day is not Cyrus the Great's birthday, but his commemoration day.
Government officials are obstructing visits or holding ceremonies commemorating Cyrus at the Pasargadae site by enthusiasts and are not allowing people to be near his tomb. They are afraid of the people awakening and overthrowing their own regime, lest the people realize their true culture and civilization and fight for freedom like Cyrus.
The name Cyrus the Great, King of Persia, appears in several books of the Christian Old Testament. Cyrus the Great was the anointed man of God, about whom there were prophecies.
In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, and he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and wrote in it this way:
Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has appointed me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Of all his people, whosoever of you goeth up, the LORD his God be with him. (Ezra 1:1-3)
This is what the Lord says to His anointed one, Cyrus: To Cyrus, whose right hand I have taken hold of to make nations bow down before him, and to make their strength to stand still, to open before him the doors, and the gates shall not be shut: I will go before you and make the hills level. I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, and the hidden treasures of secret places I will give you, that you may know that I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name, am your God. (Isaiah 45:1-3)
Part of Cyrus' words is as follows:
I, Cyrus, King of the World, the Great King, the Just King, declare that as long as I live, I will respect the religion, customs, and traditions of the nations over which I am king. I will not impose my sovereignty on any nation. Every nation is free to accept me as its king or not, and if it does not want to consider me its king, I will not wage war to rule over that nation.
After my death, do not embalm my body or cover it with gold, jewelry, or the like. Place it in the pure soil of Iran as soon as possible so that every particle of my body may become the soil of Iran. What greater honor is there for a human being than to be buried in a soil like Iran? Ask all the Persians and allies to come to my grave and congratulate me on the fact that I will no longer suffer from any evil.
Listen to my last piece of advice. If you want to punish your enemies, do good to your friends. My children,
My friends, I am now approaching the end of my life, and I have perceived it with clear signs. When I am gone, consider me happy, and I desire that this feeling should be reflected in your conduct and behavior; for I have been fortunate in childhood, youth, and old age. My strength has always increased, so that today I do not feel that I am weaker than when I was young.
I have seen my friends happy because of my goodness and my enemies obedient to me. My birthplace was a small part of Asia. Bury my body so that it may become one with the soil of Iran.
Iran will return to its thousands of years of civilization and culture.
