A 22-year-old new Christian believer, Sina Dehghan, who is convicted of starting teachers protest campaign and blasphemy through his writings on Line and Instagram has been sentenced to death by execution.
VOCIR said, according to one of the Christian activists, “Sina Dehghan, a Christian convert, who is now serving his sentence in Arak Central detention was charged on conducting teachers protest campaign and blasphemy through writings on Line and Instagram, is sentenced to death by execution.” Sahar Elyasi facing similar charges is a soccer coach who was convicted of several charges as participating in the teachers protest campaign on March 2014, membership in the protest campaign, and writing critical articles on Line is sentenced to six years in prison. In recent years, many people for criticizing the corruption and crimes of the Iranian clergymen have been persecuted on the charge of blasphemy.
Accourding to an informed source, Sina Dehghan has undertaken all the charges in the hope of having the other convicts as Sahar Elyasi released.
The other accused being remained unknown have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
These three were arrested on October, 2015 in Tehran, Iran, and were imprisoned in Arak detention. The court decision was declared to them by the Revolutionary Court of Arak on May, 2016.
