Andisheh Sadri Transferred from Ministry of Intelligence Detention Center to Sanandaj Prison

Andisheh Sadri, an art graduate who was arrested by security forces in Tehran on September 6, was transferred on Saturday, October 25, from the Ministry of Intelligence detention center known as Ward 209 of Evin Prison to the women’s ward of Sanandaj Prison.
According to Hrana News Agency, the news outlet of the human rights activists collective in Iran, on Saturday, October 25, 1399 (Persian calendar), Andisheh Sadri, a social activist, was transferred from the Ministry of Intelligence detention center known as Ward 209 of Evin Prison to the women’s ward of Sanandaj Prison.
An informed source regarding Ms. Sadri’s condition told Hrana: “Andisheh Sadri, during a brief phone call with her family, told them that on Saturday she was transferred from Evin Prison to the Sanandaj Reformation and Education Center, known as the women’s ward of Sanandaj Prison, and is expected to be interrogated by the Sanandaj Intelligence Agency officials as well.”
Andisheh Sadri was arrested by security forces in Tehran on September 6 this year and was transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence detention center known as Ward 209 of Evin Prison.
Concurrently with Ms. Sadri’s arrest, Shabnam Ashoori, Alvar Ghalived, Neda Pirokhozrani, Arash Johari, and Loghman Pirokhozrani were also arrested in Tehran. Among these individuals, Shabnam Ashoori was released from Evin Prison on Tuesday, October 17, after posting bail, and there is no information regarding the status of the other detainees.
As of the time of compiling this report, there is no information available regarding the reasons for Ms. Sadri’s arrest and the charges against her.
These citizens are social activists who work in the area of workers’ issues and demands.
