Bijan Farkhpour, Young Christian, Reported to Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz to Serve Sentence

Seyyed Bijan Farkhpour Haqiqi, a young Christian from Shiraz, reported to Adel Abad Prison in the city to serve his prison sentence.
According to Hrana news agency, the news organ of the Human Rights Activists in Iran, Seyyed Bijan Farkhpour Haqiqi, a young Christian, on the 12th of Bahman reported to Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz to serve his sentence of two years and six months imprisonment.
This young Christian had been sentenced to two and a half years of definitive imprisonment on charges of “actions against national security through assembly and collusion and propagation of Christianity.”
It is worth recalling that Mohammad Roghangir, Masoud Razaei, Mehdi Amerooni, Bijan Farkhpour Haqiqi, Shahin Lahooti, Sorosh Serayee, Eskander Razaei, and Roxana Faroghi were young Christians who were members of a network of churches known as the “Church of Iran.” They were arrested on the 21st of Mehr in 1391 following a security forces raid on a home prayer session in Shiraz.
All eight individuals were released after some time upon posting heavy bail until the court hearing.
Ultimately, members of this group were sentenced in the primary phase by the Shiraz Revolutionary Court on Tuesday, the 25th of Tir in 1392, to a total of 24 years of disciplinary imprisonment.
