Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi Meets with ‘Rich McCormick’ Regarding US Support for the Iranian People

Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi met with “Rich McCormick,” a member of the US House of Representatives, to discuss how the United States can support the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom.
Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi announced on Thursday, January 16, his meeting with Rich McCormick, a member of the US House of Representatives. He wrote on his X network: “This meeting was devoted to how the United States can provide maximum support to the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and how such support is also in line with America’s national interests.”
While referring to the conditions of the Islamic Republic following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government and the weakening of the Islamic Republic’s rule, he added: “At a time when the Islamic Republic is weaker than ever and the Iranian people are ready to reclaim their country, I went to the Congress building for a new round of talks with representatives of the American people.”
In recent months, Crown Prince Pahlavi has also spoken about preparing programs for the transition period from the Islamic Republic and announced in his speech the establishment of 10 important economic principles for Iran’s future. He unveiled this plan under the title “Iran Flourishing Project” during the third “Iran” conference hosted by the National Union for Democracy in Iran.
Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi made his first appearance in Washington at the aforementioned third conference and, after unveiling his plan, proposed that an economic reconstruction plan similar to the “Marshall Plan” should be implemented for Iran following the Islamic Republic. He emphasized Iran’s readiness for fundamental changes and said: “As I said in my previous speech at the Israeli-American Council meeting, we are seeking cooperation with the world. This cooperation is not limited to the political sphere.
Once Iran has the opportunity, it will again seek partnerships in investment, trade, and commerce. Through this path, we can rebuild our country and re-establish our ties with the world, not through the nonsense and empty talks that Khamenei’s pawns like Masoud Pezeshkian were sent to New York to present.”
He emphasized in his remarks: “The fall of the Islamic Republic is not the end of the matter, but the beginning of an Iranian renaissance. This is what I, along with experts and business leaders, have planned for and am working to achieve when the transition period comes. Iran will be ready for business after nearly five decades, whether for Iranians inside the country, Iranians outside the country, or global investors.”
