According to Hrana news agency, citing Mehr news agency, on Saturday evening, December 27, 2021, a 34-year-old woman from one of the villages in Takab County was beaten by her husband and killed.
The prosecutor general of Takab described the incident: The man who killed his 34-year-old wife in one of the villages around this county was arrested at the scene and confessed to murdering his wife.
Ibrahim Babamoradi added: The man, after severely beating his wife and three children at night with a stick, cable, and knife, found his wife’s lifeless body the next morning.
Babamoradi explained: The young rural woman who had been subjected to severe blows by her husband in her home for an extended period died from the severity of injuries caused by hard and dangerous objects during the night.
The prosecutor general of Takab, referring to the arrest of the suspect at his residence, said: The suspect also severely beat his three children, one of whom is currently hospitalized due to the severity of injuries sustained.
Babamoradi added: The man, who initially claimed ignorance about killing his wife and beating his children, eventually confessed to his actions and cited family disputes as the reason.
The case file of this murder is currently under investigation by the county intelligence police.
