I Am Not Concerned About Any Threats; I Have Lived With Threats for 40 Years

Prince Reza Pahlavi announced in an interview in Israel that he is not concerned about any threats and has lived with threats over the past 40 years.
Prince Reza Pahlavi traveled to Israel on Monday, April 17, to convey a message of friendship from the Iranian people, to engage in discussions with Israeli water specialists about how to address Iran’s water resource crisis caused by the Islamic Republic regime’s misuse, and to pay respects to Holocaust victims on their memorial day, accompanied by his wife Yasmine.
Prince Pahlavi, by participating in the annual official ceremony and attending a memorial gathering at the Wailing Wall, as well as paying respects to the Holocaust remembrance ceremony, expressed his satisfaction and stated that he is confident in the connection between Iran and Israel and hopes they will resume their historical friendship.
His trip to Israel generated widespread reactions in cyberspace. An interview was conducted with him in Israel in the presence of Gila Gamliel, Israel’s Minister of Information. In part of this interview, the Prince responded to a journalist’s question about concerns regarding security threats and the Iranian people’s desire to improve Iran-Israel relations, saying: “I have never been concerned about any threats; rather, I have lived with threats for 40 years, and these threats have never prevented me from serving my country’s freedom. We know what kind of regime we are dealing with—a regime that has killed and assassinated many Iranians over these years—and these matters have not been a threat that would make me abandon my goal. Even if there had been threats regarding my trip to Israel, I would still have made this trip.”
Regarding the Iranian people’s reaction, he continued: “The Iranian people are very happy and excited because someone is finally speaking on their behalf. Referring to social media, he stated that contrary to what the regime has always claimed about its opposition and enmity toward Israel, the Iranian people not only have no opposition or enmity toward Israel, but actually desire friendship with this country; because they know how friendly relations and cooperation with this country can be impactful for the development and future of Iran.”
