New Wave of Afghan Migrants to Iran

Following the announcement of issuing identity documents to foreign nationals, Iran has faced a new wave of Afghan migrants with high intensity.
Afghan migrants, who had constituted the largest number of immigrants in Iran in recent years, had been deprived of refugee rights and privileges in Iran. Many of their children were also denied access to identity documents and the right to education. In recent weeks, news was published about the issuance of identification cards or Iranian national ID cards to foreign nationals, whereby a ten-digit identification code or national code would be issued to nationals from any country, and they would be entitled to all rights and privileges accorded to Iranians, including the right to participate in elections and vote.
Following the publication of the aforementioned news, a widespread wave of Afghans who are subjected to oppression by the Taliban in their own country moved toward Iran, and their entry into the country of Iran took place with the approval of the system.
According to a specialist in the field of foreign nationals, the Iranian regime has intentionally opened the way for Afghans to enter Iran so that people, fearing their presence, would stop opposing the clerics and allow them to pursue their sinister objectives. Unaware that soon the management of the situation will slip from their hands and security problems may emerge domestically.
This news has generated widespread reactions from users on social media platforms. Many believe that one of the regime’s objectives is to advance its sinister goals by issuing identity documents and Iranian citizenship and promoting childbearing. Additionally, they could gather votes for elections, as none of the Iranian people are willing to vote for them. Many others have spoken of the social security problems and threats posed to Iranians.
