Observe Your Hijab or We Will Deduct Money From Your Account

A parliament representative regarding the mandatory hijab and chastity bill said: “Observe your hijab or we will deduct money from your account.”
A parliament representative regarding the three million toman fine imposed on those who do not comply with mandatory hijab requirements said: “If someone wants to withdraw three million from the bank, they had better respect the law!”
“Mousavi Ghashghashvari,” head of the parliament’s human rights commission, responding to concerns that some officials have raised that the three million toman fine mentioned by one representative could prompt people to withdraw their money from banks to prevent access to their accounts, said: “If someone wants to withdraw their money because of three million, they had better comply with the law.”
He also commented on the back-and-forth exchange of the mandatory hijab and chastity bill between parliament and the Guardian Council: “The esteemed Guardian Council raised objections in articles 19, 65, 47, and 49, so the commission will hopefully correct them this week. Next week the status of the chastity and hijab bill will become clear.”
A parliament representative previously claimed that anyone who violates hijab rules will be fined. This fine will not be imposed directly by law enforcement officers, but rather through a system, and the amount is also three million tomans. “Banki Pour,” another parliament representative, also discussed details of the hijab and chastity bill on the television program Ofough, adding: “I think after the Eid holidays, this bill will be enforceable.”
“Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejehi,” head of the judiciary, also said that the Islamic Republic is in poor condition regarding the hijab and chastity issue. His comments came one week after Ali Khamenei’s renewed emphasis on imposing mandatory hijab, indicating the government’s intention to intensify oppressive actions against mandatory hijab opponents.
Mohseni Ejehi considers those opposed to mandatory hijab as people playing into the enemy’s hands and has repeatedly stressed that they must be confronted and dealt with according to the law. It should be noted that Mahsa Amini (Zhina) was also beaten by morality police officers for the same reason and lost her life.
In addition to the crimes the Islamic Republic system has committed against the Iranian people over the past two years—taking many lives and imprisoning many—the regime also intends to plunder and confiscate people’s cash assets under the pretext of not observing the hijab.
