Prince Reza Pahlavi: Negotiations are the lifeline of the collapsing Islamic Republic regime

Prince Reza Pahlavi described negotiations as a lifeline for the collapsing Islamic Republic regime.
Prince Reza Pahlavi, while criticizing US negotiations with the Islamic Republic over its nuclear program, issued a statement saying: “These nuclear negotiations will not bring peace to the Middle East. This regime does not negotiate in good faith. The Islamic Republic uses diplomacy as a tactic to buy time, reduce pressure, and consolidate its own power.
Although these negotiations may have started with good intentions, in practice they will serve as a lifeline for a collapsing dictatorship and will prolong the era of terrorism and turmoil it exports.”
Calling on European and American countries to deal with the Iranian people instead of the extremists ruling Tehran, he added: “The Islamic Republic is in its weakest position in the past 46 years. Its leadership is fractured, its economy is in free fall, and its people are rising up. Just in recent weeks, protests have flared up once again across the country. Change has already begun now; this is not the time to save a dying regime.”
