Reza Pahlavi: “No to Islamic Republic” is the Common Bond of All Scattered Protesters

Prince Reza Pahlavi announced on Monday, March 16, in a video message that the “No to Islamic Republic” campaign has emerged from the heart of Iranian society and no single movement, party, or group can claim sole ownership or credit for its creation.
Mr. Pahlavi emphasized that “various political forces and groups can pave the way for achieving comprehensive convergence by focusing on this national demand and bring different active segments closer to one another.”
Referring to the problems in Iran, he added: “Today, from Kurdish porters in Kurdistan to fuel smugglers in Sistan and Baluchestan, from youth and students to factory workers and retirees, from families seeking justice to protesters imprisoned in December 2017 and November 2019, everyone sees the root of their problems in one place: the incompetent and inefficient government of the Islamic Republic. No to the Islamic Republic is the common bond of all scattered protesters who know that solving their problems is only possible with the departure of this government.”
In this message, Reza Pahlavi called for the widespread dissemination of the “No to Islamic Republic” campaign message and said: “Each of you can today, using modern and innovative methods in virtual and real spaces, spread the message of this campaign.”
This campaign was published last week on social networks bearing the signatures of more than 600 civil activists and cultural figures.
They addressed the people, writing: “Let us make the demand of ‘No to Islamic Republic’ the axis of national solidarity so that by launching a large and comprehensive movement, we can forever cleanse the land of Iran of the poverty and misery of this black and corrupt regime.”
