One day after the journalists’ bus overturned, a bus carrying conscripted soldiers on the Yazd-Daheir route resulted in seven deaths. The police announced the cause of the accident as “defect in the braking system of this bus and the driver’s inability to control” the bus.
Also in early Shahrivar month, the director of accidents and medical emergencies in Bam reported the overturning of a vehicle carrying Afghan nationals in Bam city, resulting in 3 deaths at the accident scene and 9 others being injured in this incident.
Just one day after the news of the overturning of a vehicle carrying Afghan nationals in Bam city was published, the Iran Student News Agency reported on Thursday, the 10th of Shahrivar month, about the overturning of a minibus in Kamyaran, Kurdistan province of Iran, writing that 16 people were killed and 12 others were injured in this accident.
Road accidents are one of the major causes of mortality in Iran, and based on published reports, the main causes of road accidents include poor road conditions, vehicle deterioration, and failure to comply with traffic laws and supervision of them.
