The Impact of Today’s Protests in Iran on Iran’s Future

What will Iran be like in the coming years? Will today’s protests in Iran have an impact on its future?
If we ask ourselves this question every day, we will certainly strive more than before for a prosperous and free Iran.
The protests that began in September of this year have maintained their momentum. People who seek justice have not withdrawn from the streets, and at the cost of their blood, they stand firm and continue their protests.
What motivation drives the people of Iran to the streets? What motivation compels them to clench their fists and seek the overthrow of the Islamic Republic government?
Their motivation is a free Iran without discrimination. Their motivation is equality of rights between men and women, a strong economy, and abundant job opportunities. It is spending weekends without worry alongside their classmates. Their motivation is traveling to the farthest corners of the world, as in the past, with a valid Iranian identity. Their motivation is singing the national anthem “Ey Iran” and showing respect for their national song.
An Iran whose church doors are open to all people to worship God. An Iran where in its Freedom Stadium, people sing hymns hand in hand.
An Iran that, with the reopening of factories and a strong economy, faces a labor shortage to such an extent that it requests workers from other countries.
An Iran that, in hosting its festivals, welcomes people from all over the world. An Iran where its people can easily make the best use of the blessings that God has provided for them in this world.
An Iran whose hotels lack capacity due to visits from foreign tourists. An Iran that holds excellent weekend celebrations in its Tehran. An Iran that, for the dynamism of its economy, must create some inflation.
What will the future children of Iran say about today in the coming years?
When they look back at the history of today, the year 1401, they will see the bravery of the honorable people of Iran. They will see the unity of Iran’s different ethnic groups, who sacrificed their lives and wealth for freedom and a prosperous Iran.
They will read that the nationwide movement of previous years began with the death of Mahsa Amini and other Mahsas. A girl who thought she was alone, but all of Iran was with her. People who did not abandon the blood of their sisters and brothers, and as a sign of protest, came to the streets at the cost of their own blood. People who thought of freedom and the well-being of future generations.
The future generation will thank the honorable and brave people of today for not allowing their dreams to vanish like water. Young people who in the future will easily obtain everything they need and will not yearn for employment, income, and a luxurious life.
Today’s protests are equal to a prosperous and free Iran in the future.
