Urgent Appeal from Prince to Trump: People Return to Streets Tonight

Reza Pahlavi issued an urgent appeal addressed to Trump, referring to the presence of people in the streets on the evening of December 10, 2025 (19 Dey 1404), calling for assistance and intervention to prevent crackdowns.

On the eve of continued nationwide protests and tonight’s Friday appeal on December 10, 2025 (19 Dey 1404), Reza Pahlavi released an urgent message on the social media platform X, addressing Donald Trump, the U.S. President, and called on him to intervene against the widespread suppression of Iranian protesters.

This message was released amid circumstances where Iran is facing widespread internet and telecommunications outages, while simultaneously, officials of the Islamic Republic have threatened to deal with protesters with a “decisive and maximum” response. Field reports indicate that despite these limitations, people in various cities are preparing themselves for another presence in the streets during tonight’s evening hours.

In this message, Reza Pahlavi, while referencing last night’s million-person demonstrations and the violence of security forces, warned about the government’s use of communication cutoffs for bloody suppression.

Reza Pahlavi said in his appeal addressing Trump: “People will come to the streets in one more hour, I ask you to help. This is an urgent and necessary call for your attention, support, and action. Last night you witnessed millions of brave Iranians in the streets facing live ammunition. Today, they face not only bullets, but also complete communication blackouts. There is no internet. There are no landline phones either.”

The last Iranian shah’s son continued in his statement: “Ali Khamenei, out of fear that his criminal regime will end at the hands of people and with the help of your powerful promise to support protesters, has threatened people in the streets with brutal suppression. He wants to use this internet blackout to kill these young heroes.”

Reza Pahlavi, emphasizing his message, added: “People will return to the streets again in one more hour. I ask you to help. You have proven and I know that you are a man of peace and a man who keeps his word. Please be ready to intervene to help the people of Iran.”

This message was released as the security situation in Iran has noticeably intensified, with reports indicating widespread deployment of military and security forces in various cities. Simultaneously, the internet cutoff has severely limited citizens’ access to media and communication with the outside world; a measure that has precedent in previous periods of protest suppression. Political observers believe tonight’s appeal on December 10 could be one of the most critical turning points of the Iranian national uprising, especially given its coincidence with international pressures and increased reactions from political figures outside the country.
