Website of U.S. Federal Agency Hacked by “Iranian Hackers”

Trump threatened that if Iran attacks one of America’s bases or an American citizen, the United States would send “some of these very new and beautiful weapons” to them. He added that this action would be carried out “immediately”.

A website of a U.S. federal agency was hacked in response to the killing of Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force. The site, which is now inaccessible, briefly displayed the phrase “Iranian hackers” and an image of Khamenei.

Yesterday (Saturday, January 4 / December 14) the phrase “Iranian hackers” and an image of the Islamic Republic’s leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, briefly appeared on the official website of the U.S. federal government publishing administration.

According to France Press news agency, hackers also threatened retaliation for the killing of Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force.

Friday morning, two vehicles carrying Qasem Soleimani, four other Quds Force members, and five people welcoming them near Baghdad airport were targeted by an American drone strike, and all their occupants, including Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces, were killed.

“Iranian hackers” published an animation on the federal agency’s website in which U.S. President Donald Trump is seen being beaten and missiles from the Islamic Republic are seen flying.

Above the animation was written that with Soleimani’s killing, “his work and path” would not end. Hackers wrote on the federal agency’s website, which is now inaccessible: “This is just a small part of Iran’s cyber capability.”

Following the killing of the Quds Force commander and his companions, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several other senior Islamic Republic officials threatened that a “harsh revenge” awaits America.

Warning About Targeting 52 Sites

Trump responded Saturday evening in a series of tweets to the repeated threats by Islamic Republic officials over the past two days, writing that the threats were in response to the killing of someone who was planning to attack the American embassy in Baghdad and strike American interests in other parts of Iraq.

He stated that if Iran attacks American citizens and American interests, 52 sites in the country, some of which are “very important,” would be targeted as a symbol of the 52 Americans who were taken hostage years ago.

Trump’s reference is to the seizure of the American embassy in Tehran in November 1979, during which 52 diplomats and embassy staff were held hostage for 444 days. He warned that American strikes would be “very fast and very hard.”

Threat With “Very New Weapons”

The U.S. President, in another message Sunday morning on his Twitter page, emphasizing that the United States has recently spent two trillion dollars on weapons production, stressed that America is “by far the greatest and best” power in the world.

Trump threatened that if Iran attacks one of America’s bases or an American citizen, the United States would send “some of these very new and beautiful weapons” to them. He added that this would be done “immediately”.

The Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, on Friday and after holding an emergency meeting, in a statement called the American drone attack on Qasem Soleimani and his companions “Washington’s biggest strategic blunder” in the West Asia region and warned that “America will not easily escape the consequences of this miscalculation”.

Based on this statement, the Supreme National Security Council in the emergency meeting on December 13 considered various dimensions of this incident and adopted “appropriate decisions,” and America will face Iran’s retaliatory action “at the appropriate time and place”.
