“Yedioth Ahronoth”: Iran Postponed Attack on Israel at the Last Moment

The publication “Yedioth Ahronoth” reported that Iran postponed its attack on Israel at the last moment following a U.S. warning.
Iran’s threats against Israel following an airstrike on Iran’s consulate in Damascus prompted Israel to prepare for a potential Iranian response against the country and conduct drills.
Early Thursday morning, April 13th, a U.S. official informed about the exchange of messages with Iranian officials last week. According to CNN reports, the official stated: “The U.S. government warned Tehran about an attack on Israel. Iran, in turn, warned the United States about supporting Tel Aviv.”
The American official emphasized that despite the exchange of messages, the United States remains on alert to anticipate and monitor any possible Iranian action.
Many Western and local observers, while referring to investigations and assessments of obtained intelligence, stated that it is likely Iran will attack Israel’s consulate in the coming days after Eid al-Fitr holidays, and this attack will not be through its proxy groups, but directly against military or government bases on Israeli territory through missiles or unmanned aircraft and in a suicide manner.
