A day after the journalists' bus overturned, a bus carrying conscripts on the Yazd-Dehshir highway killed seven people. The police stated that the cause of the accident was "a defect in the technical braking system of the bus and the driver's inability to control the bus."
In early September, the director of Bam's Accidents and Medical Emergencies Department announced that a car carrying Afghan nationals overturned in Bam city, killing three people at the scene and injuring nine others.
Just one day after publishing news of a vehicle carrying Afghan nationals overturning in Bam city, the Iranian Students News Agency reported on Thursday, September 1, that a minibus overturned in Kamyaran, Kurdistan province of Iran, and wrote that 16 people were killed and 12 others were injured in the incident.
