Arrest of Isfahani journalist Hossein Yazdi

Hossein Yazdi, a journalist from Isfahan, was arrested after going to the Isfahan Prosecutor's Office.

According to Saba Yazdi, the daughter of Hossein Yazdi, while confirming the news about her father's arrest, she stated: "A few days ago, they called my father and summoned him to the Isfahan Prosecutor's Office. They also sent him a written notice, stating that he should report to the Isfahan Prosecutor's Office today (Tuesday, July 13). My father went to the prosecutor's office at 9 a.m. and a few minutes later he called and said that he had been arrested."

According to Saba Yazdi, the charges brought against her father were propaganda against the regime, but in her opinion, another issue also occurred, because Hossein Yazdi had announced in his call that the judge had initially issued him a bail of 90 million Tomans, but then demanded his arrest.

Hossein Yazdi has now been transferred to Ward "A-I" of Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan, a ward under the control of the Ministry of Intelligence.
