Jalali: The explosion at the Natanz nuclear facility is separate from other incidents in recent weeks

The head of the country's Passive Defense Organization has said that all recent accidents and fires were not due to security reasons, but the explosion at the Natanz nuclear facility is separate from other incidents in recent weeks.

In an interview with Khaneh Mellat News Agency on Monday, July 20, Gholamreza Jalali also announced the organization's report on the explosion in Natanz and said that Iran's Supreme National Security Council is going to conclude on this matter.

On July 12, an explosion occurred at the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz, which some analysts say will delay Iran's nuclear program by two years.

Iran's Supreme National Security Council has previously announced that the cause of the explosion has been determined, but is not announcing it at this time due to "security considerations."

Mr. Jalali also emphasized that the cause of the recent fires in forests and some power plants was not "cyber" or "security" and that some media outlets "wrongly engaged people's minds."

In the last two months, fires have occurred in various regions of Iran, including in lands, pastures, forests, and some urban areas and industrial centers of Iran.
