Three Afghan passenger planes were transferred to Iran "without passengers"

The spokesman for the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization announced on Thursday the transfer of a number of aircraft from Kam Air Afghanistan to Iran.
ISNA news agency, quoting Mohammad Hassan Zeebakhsh, reported that following the increase in clashes and tensions at Kabul Airport, the owner of the private airline Kam Air of Afghanistan has requested the transfer of a number of the company's planes to Iranian airports.
According to him, three planes have landed at Iranian airports so far, but they were not carrying passengers.
The US Embassy in Kabul advised its citizens on Wednesday, September 25, not to go to Hamid Karzai International Airport and to stay away from the airport's entrances.
The three countries of Britain, New Zealand, and Australia, citing the "threat of terrorist attack," also asked their citizens and visa holders from these countries to stay away from airport entrances and not gather around them.
This is while foreigners who intend to leave Afghanistan have no other option than Hamid Karzai Airport in Kabul, and some of them have been waiting outside the airport gates for several days.
American and international coalition forces use Hamid Karzai International Airport to evacuate personnel, citizens of their countries, as well as Afghans at risk.
The evacuation of people and personnel from Kabul Airport began 11 days ago, one day after the Taliban forces took control of Kabul.
