Due to air pollution, 324 people in Alborz Province faced heart and respiratory problems.

Air pollution in Alborz Province has caused more than 320 people to suffer from heart and respiratory problems in the last three days.
Mehrdad Babaei, head of the Alborz Province Emergency Medical Center, announced on Wednesday, November 12, that in the past three days, 324 people have visited the emergency room due to heart and respiratory problems caused by air pollution.
He added that of these, 237 people had gone to the emergency room with heart problems and 87 with respiratory problems.
The unstable weather in Alborz Province since last week has caused the level of pollutants in the province to increase, and today kindergartens and elementary schools in the province (except Taleghan County and Asara District) will be closed.
In recent days, Tehran province has also been facing air pollution.
Not long ago, the secretary of the Technical Committee for Issuing Vehicle Licenses of the Environmental Organization, referring to the financial damage caused by air pollution, said that according to a World Bank report, air pollution causes $2.6 billion in damage to Tehran residents annually.
