Putin's top adviser resigns in protest over Ukraine war

One of Russian President Vladimir Putin's top advisers has resigned and left the country.
Russian state media outlet Tass reported that Anatoly Chubais, who served as Putin's envoy on climate change, has resigned in protest at the war in Ukraine.
According to some reports, Chubais gave Putin his first government job in the 1990s.
Chubais is considered an influential reformer in the Russian government.
According to media reports, this Russian oligarch is the highest-ranking Kremlin official who severed ties with the Kremlin after Putin's massive invasion of Ukraine.
It is not clear which country he went to.
