Reactions to the assault on Gohar Eshghi; Hamed Esmailiyon: Bastardism, ignorance, and crime will not last.

After the publication of images and news about the attack on Gohar Eshghi, mother of Sattar Beheshti, by two unknown individuals in recent days, many social media users reacted to this attempt.
Sattar Beheshti was a blogger and labor activist who lost his life in the detention center of the Islamic Republic of Iran's police force nine years ago.
Masih Alinejad, an independent journalist and host of the Voice of America program Tablet, wrote on Twitter: "The wounded but steadfast gaze of Gohar Esgki, mother of Sattar Beheshti, is a symbol of the humiliation of a tyrannical government. The real thugs are this government that is so afraid of a mother who wants justice and resort to brutality to silence her."
Ms. Alinejad continued: “The face and voice of Gohar Eshghi symbolize the sorrow and strength of the mothers who seek justice in Iran.”
Hamed Esmailiyon, spokesman for the Association of Families of Flight 752 Victims, tweeted after the news of the attempt on Gohar Eshghi's life was published: "They told her mother she was laughing when we tortured her. Yesterday they reported to higher authorities that we also beat her mother on the way to the cemetery."
The tweet continued: "The rule of murderers will not last. Bastardism, ignorance, and crime will not last."
Batoul Hosseini, the mother of Behnam Mahjoubi Darvish Gonabadi, a prisoner who lost his life in Tehran's Loghman Hospital last year, also posted a picture of Gohar Eshghi after the attempt on his life and wrote: "Since the day Behnam said he saw the decline of humanity, I have seen the decline of humanity more and more. The day of reckoning is near and you will be tried in a just court, have no doubt."
Esmaeil Bakhshi, a labor activist and former prisoner, also posted a sketch of Ms. Eshghi's face on his Twitter account, writing that Gohar Eshghi was beaten because they were afraid of her.
